This Management Summary addresses the results of an archeological survey conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. for the City of Augusta's Economic Development Office on the Riverfront Augusta property in downtown Augusta (Figure 1).

Oglethorpe Power Corporation is planning a hydroelectric facility in southwestern Pickens County, Georgia. An intensive archeological survey and site testing program was carried out in February and March 1988.

This report presents the results of an intensive cultural resources survey of the GR-3 alternative location of Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed combustion turbine power facility in Madison County, Georgia. The survey and testing program was carried out from 10 August to 16 September 1988.

In a joint enterprise with the Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (GEMC), Oglethorpe Power Corporation is planning to build a training center facility in Monroe County, Georgia. The facility, located 8 km south of Forsyth, Georgia, will cover an 8 ha area.

Archival and archeological research were conducted for the proposed Riverwalk Project to be located along the Chattahoochee River in downtown Columbus, Georgia. These investigations were conducted for Jordan, Jones and Goulding, Inc., Project Engineers.

During October of 1991 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted a Phase II survey of a portion of Ft. McAllister State Park and Historic Site in Bryan County on the Ogeechee River. The site is approximately a mile north of Ossabaw Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.

An intensive archeological survey of a fifteen acre tract south of Roswell, Georgia located one site, the ruins of Ivy Mill (9FU228). Archival work establishes that the mill was originally constructed in 1856.
