Wehadkee Farm raises Beefmaster cattle on 400 ac of land in extreme western Heard County, Georgia. The farm is only 1 km east of the Alabama state line. The county seat, Franklin, lies 15 km (kilometers) to the northeast.

In September and October of 1993 Southern Research conducted an initial survey and testing phase at the Archibald Smith Plantation Home in Roswell, Georgia. Archibald Smith was one of the founding Roswell families that moved from the Georgia coast with Roswell King, Sr.

In late January 1993 an archeological survey and archival research study was made in Columbus, Georgia on the Chattahoochee River bank from the old City Wharf south to the Oglethorpe Bridge.

On behalf of the Roswell Historical Society, an archeological survey was conducted at the presumed location of the Roswell Manufacturing Company's first cotton mill (ca. 1839).

Historical and architectural investigations were conducted from November of 1992, through January of 1993, at the mill site 9Ck410 on the Little River in Cherokee County, Georgia. The property is on the backwaters of Allatoona Lake and falls under the jurisdiction of the U.S.

The Georgia Power Company constructed and operates the Sinclair hydroelectric generating facility located on the Oconee River just north of Milledgeville. The 15,300 ac (6,070 ha) Lake Sinclair was formed by the completion of the Sinclair Dam in 1951.

Data recovery was conducted at two ridge top sites in the Richard B. Russell Multiple Resource Area. The data recovery was prompted by the U.S.

Archeological survey and testing was conducted by Southern Research at the Keys site in Towns County, Georgia near the town of Young Harris. The site was occupied by the Keys family from the nineteenth century until 1950 when it was abandoned.

A cultural resource survey of 1,129 ha (2,787 ac) was conducted by Southern Research in Compartments K-6 and K-7, Fort Benning Military Reservation, Georgia.

Southern Research conducted a five mile survey of a proposed bypass corridor around McRae, Georgia in Telfair County and a small portion of western Wheeler County for the Georgia Department of Transportation.
