In August 1993 an intensive archaeological survey was conducted of 386.10 acres located at the northeastern tip of Sea Island, Glynn County, Georgia.

In December 1992 an intensive archaeological survey was conducted of a 20.1-acre tract located one-half mile east of Fort Frederica on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
