The Georgia Department of Transportation and Greene County are proposing to widen, and partially realign Linger Longer Road and Reubens Ridge Road, both of which will provide access to a new Ritz-Carlton Lodge on Lake Oconee. A 500 ft (152 m) wide corridor, 6.7 km (4.2 mi) long, was surveyed.

Archaeological sites 9BK65, 9BK66 and 9BK67 were recorded by Georgia Society of Archaeology member Gary Doster in 1987. Mr. Doster and the owner of the property, Dr. Forest Kellogg made small collections from the sites and donated those collections to the University of Georgia.

A reconnaissance level archeological survey of four proposed reservoir alternatives in Jackson County, Georgia, was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., during January and February, 1990.

The excavations of an Early Woodland period site in northwest Georgia are described in detail. The Rush site (9FI164) dates to about 500 B.C. and is situated along the Etowah River, near Rome, Georgia.

Limited data recovery was conducted during the fall of 1985 on two multicomponent sites, 9Cb59 and 9Cb60, in a portion of Mistletoe State Park, Columbia County,, Georgia.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of a 91.7 ha (240 ac) tract in northwestern Oconee County, Georgia.

The portion of archeological site 9FU4 to be impacted by the proposed construction of the Riverside Road Pump Station was tested by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. during the period of August 6-8, 1991.

The Mill Branch sites, 9WR4 and 9WR11, are located on the Fall Line within the upper Brier Creek drainage in southeastern Warren County, Georgia. Site 9WR4 occupies a large terrace adjacent to the confluence of Brier and Little Brier Creeks.

Data Recovery was conducted on a 0.84 ha portion of the Tarver site, 9JO6, located on the Fall Line near Macon, Georgia. The Tarver site occupies most of a broad ridge crest that overlooks the confluence of Town Creek and the Ocmulgee River.

The USDA Soil Conservation Service contracted with Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. to conduct an intensive cultural resources survey of a 100 ft wide corridor along the route of a proposed 3850 ft (1174 m) flood way.
