An intensive archeological survey of a proposed 1.2 km long roadway in Bartow County discovered one prehistoric site, 9BR882. The 30 m wide project area, which was in a thick stand of grass, was surveyed by excavating shovel tests on 20 m intervals along the length of the proposed corridor.
