Constructed in 1954, Building 02763, a central heating plant, is individually eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and a contributing element to Fort Benning's Main Post Historic District.

The Jaeger Company and Southern Research Historic Preservation Consultants, Inc. put together an updated survey of 1997 Fort Benning Historic Resources. The report consists of survey forms for the updated historic resource survey performed in the Spring of 1999.

Under a continuing services contract with the United States Army Infantry Center, Directorate of Public Work, Environmental Division, Fort Benning Military Reservation, Panamerican Consultants, Inc.

The primary objective of the geomorphic analysis is to identify landform settings that could favor the preservation of buried archeological materials. In geomorphic terms, high potential for buried archeological sites does not necessarily mean that archeological materials are present.

All the buildings covered by this contextual overview are considered contributing resources to the Fort Benning Main Post Historic District. All of the buildings (fifteen) will be impacted by Army Transformation actions resulting from the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Act of 2005.

The proposed project would widen Stevens Creek Road, starting at approximately 40 meters (130 feet) south of Mayo Road in Richmond County to approximately 145 meters (475 feet) north of Evans to Locks Road in Columbia County (Figures 1 and 2).

In December 2021, Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) performed a cultural resource inventory survey for a proposed self-support lattice communications tower located in Macon County, Marshallville, Georgia Latitude: 32° 23’ 29.71” N, Longitude: 83° 53’ 40.43” W.

The proposed project would replace a 1929 concrete bridge (bridge ID# 187-0007-0) carrying State Route (SR) 11/US 19 over Boggs Creek in Lumpkin County, Georgia (Figures 1 and 2). The bridge was widened in 1949 and is located 11 miles northeast of Dahlonega.

The proposed project would replace the existing bridge on SR 166 over Big Indian Creek approximately 1.9 miles west of Bowdon, Carroll County, Georgia.
