The University of Georgia (UGA) acquired the 658-acre Iron Horse Farm (formerly known as the Curtis Farm) in 2011 with the intent to use it as an educational and experimental farm for the University's College of Agriculture.

On July 19, 2016 I completed Phase I archeological survey of two proposed construction areas around cabins in the Rock Eagle 4-H center in northern Putnam County.

The Department of the Army at Fort Benning Military Reservation has requested a technical proposal for the Phase III level archaeological mitigation of three sites and Phase II testing of a fourth site located within the proposed road widening area.

Southeastern Archeological Services has completed archival research and archeological survey for a proposed sewer line and associated access road on the University of Georgia (UGA) golf course in Athens, Georgia. The fieldwork was conducted on June 1, 2017 by Ron Schoettmer.

This document reports the results of archival research and archeological monitoring of the installation of a sewer line on new location, extending from the front of the Chapel diagonally across the quadrangle to an existing manhole on the north side of the Administration Building (Figure 1 ).

On November 17, 2015 workers encountered human skeletal remains on the University of Georgia campus during construction of an addition to Baldwin Hall. In accordance with OCGA 31-21-6(b), all ground disturbing activity on the site immediately ceased.
