Report Abstracts

This report documents archival research and archeological monitoring conducted for the installation of a new, larger entrance sign for the university located at the comer of Broad and Jackson Streets on the North Campus of the University of Georgia (Figure 1).

Southeastern Archeological Services has completed archival research and a shovel test survey for the Potential New Building-East Campus Road project. The fieldwork was conducted on May 18, 2017 by Joel Jones. Archival research was conducted by Tom Gresham and Joel Jones.

Fort Benning Military Reservation proposes to construct a heavy maneuver area encompassing almost 8,600 acres for the training of armor soldiers for the restationing of the Armor School from Fort Knox, Kentucky to Fort Benning, Alabama and Georgia.
