New South Associates of Stone Mountain, Georgia conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey within the proposed Hamilton Mill Road widening corridor between August 17 and August 23, 1994.

During the month of September 2002, New South Associates conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the proposed 210 acre Temco Tract in northeast Paulding County, Georgia. Two archaeological sites (9Pa159 and 9Pa160) were located during this investigation.

During the month of April, 2000 New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of 110-acres of the construction zone (cemetery area) and 1.6 miles (2.5 km) of road network within the proposed Georgia National Cemetery in Cherokee County, Georgia.

During the month of February, 1998 New South Associates conducted a 1,300 acre survey of the Daves Creek development tract in Forsyth County, Georgia. A total of 30 sites, 25 isolated finds, and 1 prerecorded architectural complex were located within the proposed project area.

Archaeological Investigations at four prehistoric sites along Horton Creek in Fayette County, Georgia are summarized.

On April 12, 1999, New South Associates conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed 106 acre Chicopee Woods golf course extension project for Rochester and Associates.

New South Associates conducted Phase I archaeological survey of 664 acres in area BB02 of the Fort Benning Military Reservation, Chattahoochee County, during the period from May 1 through May 9, 1995. Mr. John D. Congleton conducted geomorphological research of this tract on May 6, 1995.

During April, 1998, New South Associates conducted Phase II test excavations at three potentially eligible sites in the Neighborhoods of Pumpkinvine Creek Tract, Paulding County, Georgia.

During the month of July, 1997 New South Associates conducted a 1,000 acre survey of the Neighborhoods of Pumpkinvine Creek Tract in Paulding County, Georgia. A total of 35 sites and 11 isolated finds were located within the proposed project area.

This report presents the results of the archeological testing of sites 38SU136, 38SU137, and 38SU141; and of data recovery conducted at sites 38SU45, 38SU133, and 38SU145, otherwise known as the Blackwater Pond Site Cluster.
