This is a GDOT interdepartment correspondence for an archaeological survey of project CSSTP-M003-00(532), Whitfield/Murray Counties. "In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto.

This proposed project was originally surveyed with concurrence received in 2005.

This proposed project consists of symmetrically widening the SR 70/154 & SR 92 intersection 11' along each approach of the intersection for 800'. The existing right-of-way on SR 70/154 is approximately 150' and 130' on SR 92.

The proposed project was originally surveyed with concurrence received in 1996, then reassessed in 2002, 2003, and 2005 with concurrence received each time.

This project proposes to resurface, mill, and construct curb cuts/wheelchair ramps on SR 26/25 beginning at M.P. 6.68 and ending at M.P. 16.11. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 9.43 miles.

The proposed project consists of the paving of a track and access road for the Ogeechee Technical College CDL Training Course. The proposed project area is currently a 40 acre parcel located within the property of the Claxton/Evans County Industrial Park.
