This is a bridge project, FR-159-1(21), located in Carroll County. The bridge is on SR 16/US 27 and the existing structure is a two-lane rural overpass.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, and the Georgia Environmental Policy Act of 1991, project PR-140(023), Bleckley County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion

Replace existing alignment with an approximately 44’x1200’ concrete bridge; reconstruct approaches from approximately 1100 feet before to approximately 1100 past the existing bridge; No additional R/W or easement required; road to be closed during construction with traffic detoured to area roadwa

The existing bridge structure would be replaces with a 160’ x 38’ concrete bridge structure on existing alignment. An on-site runaround detour would be provided on the east (right) side of the existing bridge. No additional right of way or temporary easement would be required.

This is a bridge project, BRF-062-1(12), located in Johnson County. The bridge is on SR 57 and crosses Buckeye Creek and Ohoopee River. The existing structures are 23.8 feet by 100 feet and 23.8 feet by 400 feet. Both structures are timber, steel, and concrete bridges.

Project IM- MS(l94), Bartow/Cherokee Counties: Proposed Bridge Painting: the proposed project consists of the painting of bridges at fourteen locations (see attached maps).

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, the proposed project has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Areas which have the potential for archaeological resources along the proposed south Hartwell Bypass are as follows: 1) Lightwood Log Creek and tributaries, 2) Cedar Creek and tributaries, 3) Little Cedar Creek and tributaries and 4) an unnamed tributary of Lightwood Log Creek.
