On October 25-26 2005, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) conducted a series of ground penetrating radar (GPR) assessments of selected areas within Magnolia Springs State Park (MSSP), in Jenkins County, Georgia.

On February 21, 2006, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) conducted a ground penetrating radar (GPR) assessment of a small portion of the Madison City Cemetery, in Morgan County, Georgia (Figure 1).

This is an Archaeological Reassessment of GDOT Project STP-BRS-0692(25) in Haralson County by the GDOT. The proposed project would replace the functionally obsolete and structurally deficient bridge on SR 100 over Walker Creek approximately 3 miles south of Tallapoosa, Georgia.

This is an Archaeological Assessment of GDOT Project STP-0006-00(017), Baldwin County. The proposed project would improve the intersection of SR 22/Montgomery Street and CR 477/North Jefferson Street in the City of Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia.

This is an Archaeological Reassessment of GDOT Project BR-0000-00(683) in Gordon County. The proposed project would replace the existing structurally deficient bridge on CR 143/County Line Road over Polecat Creek in Gordon County.

This is an Archaeological Assessment of GDOT Project STP-0005-00(831) in Laurens County. The proposed project would improve the intersection of SR 29 and SR 199 in the City of East Dublin, Laurens County.

This is an Archaeological Assessment of GDOT Project BRZLB-F003-00(007) in Atkinson County. The proposed project would replace the existing bridge on CR 42/Antioch Church Road over Pudding Creek, approximately 4 miles northwest of Pearson, in Atkinson County.

This is an Archaeological Reassessment of GDOT Project STP-2928(l) in Troup County. The proposed project would widen and reconstruct SR 14/US 29 from 0.16 mile west of West Meadow Drive to SR 14 Spur in Troup County. SR 14/US 29 is a rural two lane road with 4 foot grassed shoulders.

Phase III archaeological investigations were undertaken at the Hardin Bridge site in Bartow County, Georgia. New South Associates conducted the work for Greenhorne & O' Mara and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct US 341/SR 27 from the eastern city limits of Surrency to the western city limits of Odum in Appling and Wayne Counties. Existing right-of-way along US 341/SR 27 is approximately 100 feet.
