A cultural resources survey has been completed for areas affected by the November 1992 storm that damaged portions of the Chattahoochee and Oconee National Forests.

The grounds of Rhodes Memorial Hall were investigated for significant archaeological materials by using a combination of shovel test and test unit excavation. No significant cultural deposits or materials worthy of further attention were encountered in the current assessment.

In October and November 2001, TRC conducted archaeological data recovery excavations at 9CL269 and 9CL270 located in Carroll County, Georgia. The investigations were undertaken on behalf of Carroll County Water Authority in advance of the construction of H.C.

This management summary presents the preliminary results of data recovery investigations at sites 9CL269 and 9CL270 in Carroll County, Georgia, located within the proposed pool of the H.C. (Hill) Seaton Reservoir.
