The proposed project is Phase III of the West Cleveland Bypass project in White County, Georgia. The larger project proposed to construct a bypass along a new location corridor and existing roadway.

Original Project Description (2006)

The project is located on Interstate 75 (I-75) at Peachtree Creek in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. The proposed project would replace the existing washed out drainage 36” RCP pipe discharging along the southern bank of Peachtree Creek along the northbound outside shoulder of I-75.

The proposed work consists of resurfacing, patching, milling, striping, raised pavement markers, and curb cuts for wheelchair ramps along a 13.807-mile section of State Route (SR) 3 from SR 96 to the Flint River Bridge/Upson County line in Taylor County, Georgia (Figure I).

The purpose of this project is bridge rehabilitation at six bridge locations over Interstate (I-) 20 in Douglas County, Georgia (Table 1; Figure 1). The proposed project will include raising each bridge between 1 and 8 inches (in) to a minimum vertical clearance of 17 feet (ft).

The proposed project is located within the Prater Island Wetland Mitigation Bank in Whitfield county, Georgia (Figure 1). The project consists of maintenance and improvements along approximately 1,020 ft (311 m) of the access road entering the tract from State Route (SR) 286.

The proposed undertaking would enhance roadway design elements in the City of Jesup. Elements of the project include rehabilitating downtown sidewalks and improving the streetscape.
