This project investigated a half-mile segment along SR 211 and an additional half-mile along SR 124 centered on their intersection in Barrow County, Georgia. The improvements will provide dual left-turn lanes on SR 211.

The project investigated two transects centered on the SR 81 bridge over the Apalachee River at-the Walton/ Barrow County Line. Transects were placed on both sides of the road along the 3,750 foot corridor approximately 50 feet from the current road right-of-way.

The proposed project is an intersection improvement at the S.R. 14/U.S. 29 and Tanglewood Road intersection in Coweta County, Georgia. The project is a road widening to the east and west of the intersection of Tanglewood Road and S.R. 14/U.S. 29.

The proposed project would involve operational improvements to the existing intersection between SR 11 and SR124 near Jefferson in Jackson County (Figure 1). In addition, approach grades would be lowered as necessary and the current "all stop" flashing red traffic light would be revised.

This project investigated two transects along the CR 183/Plantation Road Bridge over Coldwater Creek in Elbert County, north of Elberton. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans on replacing the current bridge.

The project investigated two transects along the SR 77 Bridge over Falling Creek in Elbert County, south of Elberton. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans on replacing the current bridge.

This report presents the findings of a Phase I Archaeological Survey for a widening and reconstruction of US280 in Sumter County, Georgia. The area surveyed consisted of a corridor of expanded right-of-way along the existing path of US 280, portions of new alignment, and associated feeder roads.

The Phase I Archaeological Survey was conducted on a 3000 foot corridor that will be affected by the proposed bridge replacement on SR 322 over Walnut Creek. Up to 100 feet of additional ROW is needed in the corridor on SR 322.
