A 30 acre area is proposed for the expansion of housing facilities at Georgia College & State University. This acreage is one of two locations targeted for the expansion of the West Campus. This report focuses on the intensive archaeological survey of the western portion.

This report presents the findings of the Phase I Archaeological Survey of the West Segment of the expansion and realignment of SR 96 in the vicinity of the City of Bonaire, Houston County, Georgia (P.I. No. 322450).

The project consisted of a Phase 1 survey to reevaluate the SR 81 and Keys Ferry Road intersection. Construction plans to build a new turn lane on the east bound side of SR 81 required additional right-of-way acreage. The supplemental survey focused only on the new right-of-way.

This project investigated the proposed Newnan Bypass between Turkey Creek Road to SR 16, south of Newnan, in Coweta County, Georgia.

On May 28 and 29 and August 12, 2008, New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey along three proposed trail segments of the North Oconee Greenway.

This report details the results of New South Associates' Phase I Archaeological Survey of four easements along Old Alabama Road, Bartow County, Georgia and the evaluation of a site. This work was conducted as a subcontractor for Jordan, Jones & Goulding, Inc.

The APE for the current project is two park-and-ride lots, pedestrian bridges, and access lanes adjacent to Lexington Road/US 78. The APE was situated in a developed, urban area.

This project investigated both sides of College Station Road where it crosses the North Oconee River in Clarke County, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans on replacing the pair of bridges over the river.

This report presents the findings of a Phase I Archaeological Survey for a widening and reconstruction of US280 in Sumter County, Georgia. The area surveyed consisted of a corridor of expanded right-of-way along the existing path of US 280, portions of new alignment, and associated feeder roads.

The Phase I Archaeological Survey was conducted on a 3000 foot corridor that will be affected by the proposed bridge replacement on SR 322 over Walnut Creek. Up to 100 feet of additional ROW is needed in the corridor on SR 322.
