Cultural resources surveys were conducted in 1988 on three parcels of National Forest land prior to proposed land exchanges with the private sector. The parcels were located in Lumpkin, White and Stephens counties, on mostly steeply sloping land, which was heavily eroded.

During October, 1989, the Jeffrey L. Brown Institute of Archaeology, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, conducted a Phase I archaeological reconnaissance survey of a tract on the east side of Savannah, Georgia, for the Columbia Sussex Corporation.

A cultural resource survey of a proposed 75 acre waste water treatment site west of the City of Fairmount, Georgia was undertaken in May of 1990 by New South Associates.

From June 13 through June 17, 1988; Dan Simpkins and David Davis of the Office of the State Archaeologist conducted archaeological testing in the project area for a proposed Interpretive Center along with its associated parking lot and access road and two picnic shelters.

Cultural resource reconnaissance of the proposed Gaines Ferry substation site and associated electrical transmission line corridor was conducted by the principal investigator on August 21, 1990.

Cultural resources surveys were conducted on two tracts of National Forest land prior to proposed Forest Service activities: a land exchange and a road construction project. The exchange parcel is located in northeast Habersham County, near the Turnervlle community, and contains 27 acres.

This report documents the results of the cultural resources survey of the proposed Webb Road 115/25 kV Substation, Troup County, Georgia, for Oglethorpe Power Corporation. No significant cultural resources were encountered in the project area.

An intensive survey for cultural resources was conducted prior to the construction of Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed 5.6 ha (13.9 ac) Attica 12kV switching station in Jackson County, Georgia. The property formerly consisted of cotton fields, and terraces are evident throughout.

Archaeological survey of the proposed plant site and trunk lines or the City of Menlo Sewerage System, Chattooga County, Georgia, as conducted during November of 1985 and February of 1986.
