In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the following projects were surveyed with respect to archaeological resources; especially those which may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, the project has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Georgia DOT project # BRS-0856(6), is an in place bridge replacement project at SR 52 over Owltown Creek in Gilmer County(ies)(District 6). Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted. Only those areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected.

Place approximately 970 cubic yards of fill material below the 100-year flood elevation covering approximately 0.15 acres. Fill material will be obtained from high land sources in the vicinity of the project.

Georgia DOT Project# BRZLB-O31(2) is an in-place bridge replacement project over Spring Creek on an unnamed county road in Bulloch County (District 5). Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.
