Subject project consists of widening a two (2) lane paved fac11fty to a four (4) lane paved facility with some areas having five (5) lanes. Total length of project is approximately 16.50 miles.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project STP-M000-00(310), Tattnall County, has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places

In May 2017, Environmental Services, Inc., (ESI) conducted a cultural resource assessment survey of the proposed Blitch Surface Mine parcel in Chatham County, Georgia (Figure 1.1).
