Georgia DOT Project BHF-017-1(24) is an in-place bridge widening project on State Route 1 over the Little Tallapoosa River in Carroll County. Because the project requires no additional right of way only areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected.

Both bridges will be replaced on existing alignment. Both bridges will require additional right of way. A double 7 x 7 culvert concrete box over Buckhead Creek is proposed. A triple 9 x 8 concrete box culvert over little Buckhead creek is proposed.
