Georgia DOT Project # BRZ-151(2) is an in-place bridge replacement project at Walnut Creek and Oak Grove Road in Henry County, District 3. Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted. Only those areas which have been disturbed by previous bridge construction will be affected.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the following projects were sur­veyed with respect to archaeological resources; especially those which may be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

In May 2019, Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) performed a cultural resource inventory survey for a proposed self-support tower telecommunication facility located in Ben Hill County, Rebecca, Georgia (Latitude: 31° 47’ 31.42” N Longitude: 83° 24’ 22.73” W).

In May 2019, Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) performed a cultural resource inventory survey for a proposed self-support tower telecommunication facility located in Worth County, Ashburn, Georgia (Latitude: 31° 41’ 12.70” N Longitude: 83° 49’ 5.90” W).

In May 2019, Trileaf Corporation (Trileaf) performed a cultural resource inventory survey for a proposed self-support tower telecommunication facility located in Murray County, Chatsworth, Georgia (Latitude: 34° 51’ 08.69” N Longitude: -84° 48’ 45.12” W).

Project’s purpose was to discharge approximately 3,500 cubic yards of highland-source fill material below the 100 year flood elevation covering approximately 0.5 acre. The discharge is incidental to a bridge replacement on State Route 15 (U.S.

We are now in the process of preparing plans on the subject project. Please advise if you have any interest that might conflict with this proposed construction.
