An Archaeological Assessment of Project STP0006-00(491), Baldwin County. The proposed project would install a traffic signal at the SR 29/US 441/Garrett Way/CR10 intersection in Milledgeville, Georgia. The existing right-of-way for SR 29 varies with a maximum of 200 feet.

Crooked River State Park (Figure 1) proposes using a small area near the Park Nature Center for conducting "mock digs" to train students in archaeological methods. The purpose of this survey was to ensure that no significant archaeological resources would be damaged by the project.

This proposed project was surveyed and concurrence received in 1999. The original project, proposed widening of SR 15/US 129, remains the same except for the following: numerous temporary driveway easements and sediment basins are now required.
