Report Abstracts

Project FR-009-2(77) is the proposed widening of U.S. 17 from just east of Lynes Parkway to the Stiles Avenue intersection. The bridge over the CSX Railroad would also be widened. Project FR-064-1(40) is the proposed widening of U.S.

The proposed project would consist of the widening and reconstruction of Interstate 95 from a point approximately 0.93 miles north of the bridge over Interstate 16 in Chatham County to the Savannah river in Effingham County. Total project length would be approximately 11.4 miles.

The proposed project would construct a truck weigh station adjacent to an existing Safety Rest Area/Welcome Center on southbound 1-95 just south of the South Carolina state line. In addition, the southbound exit ramp would be reconstructed.

The proposed project would widen U.S. 80 east of Savannah. As proposed the project would begin at the intersection of U.S. 80 and Bryanwood Road then would extend easterly along U.S. 80 to a point just past the intersection of U.S. 80 and Johnny Mercer Boulevard.
