Report Abstracts

The project begins in Bloomingdale at County Road S. 1841 and extends easterly for a distance of 2.5 miles, to a point in Pooler. A corridor 150 feet wide was surveyed.

The project proposes construction of a connector, on new location, from S.R. 204, Abercorn Street, to S.R. 21 (1-516), Lynes Parkway. The project begins as at a point approximately one mile west of the S.R. 204 crossing of the Little Ogeechee River and terminates at the point where S.R.

The project is the proposed widening of S.R. 26/U.S. 80 from 1-95 in Pooler to the bridge over the Central of Georgia Railroad in Garden City. The project would widen the existing facility within a 100 to 200 foot right-of-way for 5.4 miles.

The proposed project is the replacement of the Bay Street viaduct, U.S. 17/S.R. 26. The project entails the total replacement of the viaduct and the widening of the existing approaches from a three lane section to a five lane section.

Project F-041-2(32) is the proposed widening of Ga. 21 from the north city limits of Rincon to the junction of Interstate 95. The project corridor is 9.4 miles long and 134 feet wide.

The proposed project will provide an additional passing lane between M.P. 28.5 and 30.9. The project will be completed within the existing 150 feet of rightof-way. A 150 foot corridor was surveyed for the length of the 1.4 mile project.

This project is the widening and reconstruction of S.R. 25/U.S. 17, Atlantic Coastal Highway from the traffic circle at the intersection of S.R. 25/U.S. 17 and S.R. 21/U.S. 80. The project continues north to the intersection with S.R. 21 Spur.

The proposed project would provide a new diamond interchange on 1-95 west of the Savannah Municipal Airport and approximately two miles north of the I-95/U.S.80 interchange. The proposed interchange would serve two proposed roads.

Project FR-009-2(78) consists of the widening of U.S. 17 from the four-lane section just north of SR 204/Abercorn Street Extension to just south of Dean Forest Road, where it would tie in with Project FR-009-2(68) (currently under construction).

The proposed projects would reconstruct and widen US17/SR25 in Chatham County. The projects as proposed would begin at a point just north of the Ogeechee River Bridge then would extend northeasterly along US17/SR25 to a point just south of the SR204/Abercorn Street interchange.
