The general project concept has not changed from that described above; however, the limits of the proposed project, including needed right-of-way and easements, have been more precisely defined since the time of the original survey.

In April and May 2008, URS Corporation performed a Phase I archaeological survey for the proposed widening and reconstruction of State Route (SR) 92/Dallas Acworth Highway between Old Burnt Hickory Road in Paulding County and US 41/SR 3/Cobb Parkway in Cobb County, Georgia.

GDOT Project STP00-0009-00(825) proposes to create a more efficient and safer transportation facility for the citizens of Gwinnett County while meeting the capacity demands of future traffic along the Pleasant Hill Road corridor.

The proposed project would consist of a park and ride lot facility on a 3.78-acre site located in Douglas County, Georgia (see attached location map). The parcel is be bordered by Interstate 20 to the south, Oak Ridge Road to the east, and hotel/restaurant development to the north.

This project proposes to expand the capacity of the existing intersection to handle the existing and future traffic needs by constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Houze Road (SR 140) and Hembree Road.  The intersection improvement will also integrate the City of Roswell’s proposed

The purpose of this second addendum is to address increases in needed right-of-way and easements that now extend the project limits beyond the last revised APE.

This third addendum addresses a remnant parcel that is located approximately 300 meters north of the southern project corridor terminus. The project area is approximately .10 acre and will be considered a portion of the corridor’s APE.
