New South Associates conducted a Phase I archeological survey of the proposed Wrightsboro Road widening and the Thomson West Bypass on April 18 through April 22, 1994. The Wrightsboro Road widening is approximately 4 miles long with a right-of-way of 80 to 90 feet.

On March 13, New South Associates conducted a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the proposed intersection improvement at Rays Road and East Ponce de Leon Avenue, DeKalb County, Georgia. The project consisted of approximately 0.44 mile of widening along East Ponce de Leon Avenue.
