Georgia DOT Project # BHF-019-1(7), is an in place bridge replacement project at SR 140 and the Oostanaula River in Floyd County (District 6). Because the project is in place, no new areas will be impacted.

The proposed project is to be the replacement of the existing two lane bridge over Rood Creek on S.R. 39. The existing bridge is 1331 long and 24' wide with a roadway width of 24'. The bridge has timber substructure with steel beam superstructure and corrugated steel and asphalt deck.
