Report Abstracts

This report documents the results of data recovery investigations on a portion of site 9GE922 located in Greene County, Georgia. Site 9GE922 is a large multicomponent site with components dating to the Archaic, Woodland, Late Mississippian periods.

This proposed project consists of the milling, patching, leveling and resurfacing of SR 34 beginning at SR 1/US 27 and ending at the Coweta County Line. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required.

This project proposes the milling, resurfacing, leveling, patching, shoulder building, and shoulder paving of SR 243 beginning at SR 18 in Wilkinson County and ending at US 441 in Baldwin County. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required.

Archaeological Assessment of Project STP-M000-00(376), Hall County, 2 foot left and right shoulder paving and resurfacing along State Route 347, from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 1.76 at CR 593 in Hall County, Georgia. This project is the resurfacing SR 347 at MP 0.00 to MP 1.76 at Shoreline Drive/CR 593.

Archeological Assessment of Project NHS-MOO 1-00(996), Bartow and Gordon Counties, Georgia, consists of bridge jacking involving four bridges over 1-75. The bridges will be jacked and the approaches raised. There will be no involvement with the waterways.
