Between July 3 and August 4, 2017, TerraXplorations, Inc. (TerraX) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama conducted an archaeological resources survey of State Route (SR) 29 at Pughes Creek in Laurens County, Georgia.

Between June 6 and June 16, 2017, TerraXplorations, Inc. (TerraX) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, conducted an archaeological survey of SR 171 at Battle Ground Creek in Johnson County, Georgia. The project would involve the replacement of the bridge on SR 171 at Battle Ground Creek.

On October 5, 2004 the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey at the request of the Georgia Division of Natural Resources. Two GPR survey grids were placed in the vicinity of the lighthouse on the south end of Sapelo Island (Figure 1 ).
