Environmental Corporation of America’s (ECA) client, Southern Communications Services, Inc., d/b/a Southern Linc c/o Value Concepts, Inc., is proposing to construct a telecommunications facility as described in the following FCC Form 620, New Tower (NT) Submission Packet.

On October 5, 2004 the Georgia Department of Transportation conducted a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey at the request of the Georgia Division of Natural Resources. Two GPR survey grids were placed in the vicinity of the lighthouse on the south end of Sapelo Island (Figure 1 ).

In 1978 Dick Jefferies conducted an archaeological survey of upland areas around the Wallace Reservoir under the sponsorship of the University of Georgia Institute of Community and Area Development.

Cardno, Inc. (Cardno) has completed an archaeological resources survey as a part of Kinder Morgan’s Georgia State Route (SR) 140/Adairsville Road, NE (hereafter SR 140) Pipeline Relocation Project, in Floyd County, Georgia (Figure 1).

On the basis of information obtained through archaeological survey, it seems unlikely that anything of historic or prehistoric significance would be affected by the completion of this project.

Tower Engineering Professionals, Inc. (TEP) is assisting in the expansion of an existing telecommunications facility in Tyrone, Fayette County, Georgia.

SEARCH conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of 50 acres at the Townsend Bombing Range (TBR) in Long and McIntosh Counties, Georgia. This project was completed on behalf of Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast under Contract No. N69450‐12‐D‐0078, Delivery Order No.

The proposed project entails the discovery and preliminary evaluation of historic and prehistoric sites within a 45-acre portion of the Millen National Fish Hatchery, located in Jenkins County, Georgia. This facility is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
