An archaeological-historical survey of Hartwell-Hart County Recreation Park in Hartwell, Georgia was conducted in October, 1976 by Associates in Planning and Development Consulting, Inc.

New South Associates conducted a Phase I archaeological survey on August 4, 1998 of the proposed Northwest Parkway in Bibb County. The project corridor began at Hollingsworth Road and continued generally north on new location to the intersection of Napier Avenue and Park Street.
