An archaeological survey was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in Floyd County, Georgia, along the proposed South Rome By-Pass running east from US 27/SR 1 and along Booze Mountain Road to SR 101 (Figure 1). The corridor is 6.3 km (3.9 mi) long and 73 m (240 ft) in width.
