Report Abstracts

On February 21, 2006, staff archaeologists from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) conducted a ground penetrating radar (GPR) assessment of a small portion of the Madison City Cemetery, in Morgan County, Georgia (Figure 1).

R. S. Webb & Associates conducted the cultural resources field survey of the Barnes Lake property from February 22 through March 2, 2006. We identified 14 archeological sites (Sites 1 - 12 and 14 - 15) on the property (Figure 1).

This is an Archeological Reassessment of project BRG-0005-00(880) in Worth County by the GDOT. This project proposes to replace a bridge on CR 91 over Horse Creek, 9.5 miles south of the City of Sylvester, Worth County, Georgia.

This is an Archaeological Reassessment of GDOT Project STP-BRS-0692(25) in Haralson County by the GDOT. The proposed project would replace the functionally obsolete and structurally deficient bridge on SR 100 over Walker Creek approximately 3 miles south of Tallapoosa, Georgia.

This is a GDOT archaeological report short form for negative findings for a Phase I Archaeological Survey for the Construction Improvements to the Intersection of Chapel Hill Road and Anneewakee/Dorsett Shoals Road in Douglas County, Georgia.

This is a GDOT archaeological report short form for negative findings for a Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Proposed Widening of Oakley Industrial Blvd from Stalwart Drive to SR 138 in Fulton County, Georgia.

This is an Archaeological Reassessment of Project STP-7532-00(950) in Douglas County; HPD# HP011005-003 by the GDOT. STP-7532-00(950) would widen the existing Anneewakee Road bridge over Anneewakee Creek in Douglas County, Georgia.

This is an Archeological Assessment of project MSL-0005-00(130) in DeKalb County by the GDOT. This project proposes to construct noise barrier walls along the Chamblee Tucker Road southbound entrance ramp onto I-285, ending at Henderson Hill Road.
