The proposed project would consist of the reconstruction of the SR 5/SR 16/US 27 Alt intersection in the City of Whitesburg in Carroll County, Georgia. In addition, a new location segment would be added to improve the SR 5/Kelly Street intersection.

CSNHS-0007-00(649) would construct highmast lighting on I-20 at the US 27/SR I interchange in Carroll County, Georgia. No additional right-of-way is required. An archaeological survey consistent with the proposed project description was conducted along the entire length of the project corridor.

The proposed project would extend the four lane intersection of SR 25/US 17 from Yacht Drive to Harry Driggers Boulevard for a distance of approximately 3.76 miles. The existing right-of-way along the corridor varies from 100 to 240 feet.

GDOT proposes to extend SR 138 on new location from U.S. 78/SR 10 Bypass to SR 11. The proposed typical section would consist of two 12-foot travel lanes separated by a 14-foot center turn lane on approximately 150 feet of right-of-way (Figure 2).
