An on-site inspection was made of the Kings Bay dredging area and nothing of archaeological significance was noted. This area was visited by the State Archaeologist during the summer of 1974.

The cultural resource assessment fo the Georgia Power Company's West Brunswick-Kingsland Transmission Line located one site within the construction right-of-way. The site is not eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
