Site 9R0156 [9RO(DOT)9] was located on April 9, 2010 during an archaeological survey for Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) project CSSTP-0007-00(102), PI 0007102 in Rockdale County.

The proposed project would lengthen the southbound left turn lanes along SR 5/Bill Arp Road at the intersection of Stewart Mill Road and Winona Street in Douglas County, Georgia. The total length of the project would be approximately 0.45 mile.

The proposed project consists of safety and intersection improvements of SR 47 at SR 223. The original approved concept proposed SR 47 and SR 223 be widened by 6-ft symmetrically at all approaches to provide left-tum lanes with an additional 12-ft to provide for auxiliary right-tum lanes.

The proposed project would consist of patching, leveling, resurfacing, striping and earth shoulder building on CS 64209/Charlton Street. It would begin at US 27/SR 1 and end at CS 105009/N. Division Street. The length of the project would be approximately 1.0 mile.
