On May 11 and 12, 1982, a cultural resource survey was conducted on 200 acres of U.S. Forest Service land located in Habersham County near Clarkesville. This portion of land is involved in the proposed Cleveland, Lovell, Tipton Exchange.

On April 22, 1982, a Cultural Resource Survey was conducted over a 3.05 acre roadway in northeastern Habersham County, Georgia. This existing roadway will be affected by improvement for Right-of-Way #Z-717 proposed by the U.S. Forest Service.

A Cultural Resource Survey was conducted on April 19 and 20, 1982, along the 5-mile flagline of a proposed extension of Gold Mine Road in Rabun County, Georgia. An additional length of 5 miles was surveyed in the proximity.

In April 1982, cultural resource surveys were conducted on a total of 246 acres on the proposed Edwards, Rabun County High School and Turpen Exchange Tracts in Rabun County, Georgia.

On June 15, 1982, a cultural resource survey was conducted over a 40-acre tract of U.S. Forest Service land for the proposed McClure Exchange in Rabun County, Georgia.

A Cultural Resources Survey was conducted on April 9, 1982, over a 40-acre parcel of land located in central Union County, Georgia, near Mulky Gap. This portion of land is involved in the proposed Vaughn Colwell Exchange Tract.

On April 6, 1982, a Cultural Resource Survey was conducted over a 1.4 mile roadway and an adjacent 167 acres on Chestnut Mountain in southwestern Whitfield County, Georgia. The roadway will be impacted by proposed U.S. Forest Service Road 212-A Extension.

During July, August, and November 1983, a cultural resource survey was conducted on a total of 6,850 acres in the Chattahoochee National Forest in Rabun County, Georgia. The use of a non-probability survey design located eleven prehistoric and two historic sites in the survey area.

On September 15 and 19, 1983, the author conducted a cultural resource survey on 572 acres in Compartment 33 of the Tallulah Ranger District of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Rabun County, Georgia.

From August 25-31, 1983, the author conducted a cultural resource survey on 1605 acres covering Compartment 38 of the Tallulah Ranger District of the Chattahoochee National Forest.
