Report Abstracts

Archaeological Examination of District Bridge Projects. In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the following bridge projects were surveyed for archaeological sites: BROLB-0105(1), Elbert County.

This is a bridge project, BRSLB-2813(3), located in Coweta County. The bridge is on County Road 103/ Big Poplar Road and crosses White Oak Creek. The proposed project is a replacement of the existing bridge.

This is a bridge project, BRF-154-1(4), located in Crawford County. The bridge is on SR 128 and crosses Matthews Creek. The existing bridge is 140 foot long and 23.8 feet wide with timber piles, steel beams, and a concrete deck. The established ROW is 100 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-071(16), located in Colquitt County. The bridge is on County Road 297/ Sam Sells Road and crosses Brushy Branch stream. The existing structure is a 40 foot long by 20 foot wide timber bridge. The existing ROW is 80 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRF-103-1(10), located in Bulloch County. The bridge is on State Route 46/119 and crosses Black Creek. The existing structure is a 25.7 foot wide by 330 foot long bridge with timber pilings and a concrete deck. The existing ROW is 100 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRS-0577(14), located in Bulloch County. The bridge is on State Route 46 and crosses Little Lotts Creek. The existing bridge is 27.2 feet wide and 150 feet long. It has masonry pilings and a concrete deck. The existing ROW is 100 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRS-1012(5), located in Spur-Pickens Counties. The bridge is on State Route 136 Connector and crosses Little Scarecorn Creek. The existing structure is a 24 foot wide by 90.54 foot long concrete bridge. The existing ROW is 100 feet.

This is a bridge project, BRF-070-1(7), located in Montgomery County. The project consists of three bridges located on State Route 15/29 and cross either Rocky Creek, Lower Swift Creek, or Big Swift Creek.

This is a bridge project, BRZLB-237(6), located in Putnam County. The bridge is on County Road 108/ Crooked Creek Road and crosses Crooked Creek/Lake Sinclair. The existing bridge is a concrete and steel structure measuring 15.8 feet wide by 201 feet long. The existing ROW is 80 feet.
