Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc.

Between February 22 and March 2, 2018, Brockington and Associates, Inc. (Brockington) conducted an intensive Phase I Cultural Resources Survey of the proposed 61.5-acre Settlers Hammock project tract in Camden County, Georgia.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, STP-029-1 (45), Terrell County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The above referenced 0.62 acre borrow pit had been previously cleared for archaeological resources on May 16, 1994. On February 24, 1995 this office was notified by State Archaeologist of the discovery of Native American human remains within the proposed borrow area.

Subterranean Consultants (STC) conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed lease area and access/utility easement of the Lumber City telecommunication facility on December 21, 2017.

TerraXplorations, Inc. (TerraX) was contracted by Georgia Transmission Corporation of Tucker, Georgia to conduct an archaeological survey for the proposed Woodstock-Bells Ferry 115kV Tap (P 88883) in Cherokee County, Georgia.
