On June 13, 1991, Steve G. Gilbert, staff archeologist with the U.S.

Archaeological testing was conducted at the Fielder-Little farmstead site (9Pm990) during November 1994, by Brockington and Associates, Inc. The site was originally recorded by West Georgia College (1993) during Phase I archaeological survey in the Oconee Wildlife Management Area.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., Athens, Georgia, conducted a cultural resources survey of the proposed 1.9 ha (4.7 ac) Willard substation tract for Oglethorpe Power Company, Tucker, Georgia.

An intensive cultural resources survey was carried out for the Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed Overman Chip Mill Substation and Transmission Line in Pierce County, Georgia.

A cultural resource survey conducted by the Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District investigated the Perkins-Hollinger-Cohen tract, which is intended as off-base housing (Section 801) for enlisted personnel and their families at Fort Stewart, Georgia (Kodack 1990).
