Report Abstracts

This report presents the results of a Historic Resources Survey conducted on behalf of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District in support of the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project (SHEP).

In March of 2021, Cardno was contacted by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company, LLC (Transco) in regards to a small area of their property just outside their Compressor Station 120 (CS 120 or Station 

An archaeological survey has been performed along the proposed route of 1-16-1(75). This pedestrian survey included subsurface shovel tests along the project right- of-way. The Savannah and Ogeechee Canal was also included in this survey.

The proposed project would consist of the installation of ADA ramps, crosswalks and pedestrian heads at previously signalized intersections. and the installation of school signs.

The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences owns a 445-acre tract of farm and woodland at its Georgia Mountain Research and Education Center just south of Blairsville in Union County (Figure l).

In compliance with these procedures, in May 2014 SAS excavated l-x-1-m test units at the four existing guy wire anchors at the southern edge of large upland site 9DO 181 and at the four guy wire anchors near the center of small river levee site 9DO 182.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) proposes to replace the bridge that carries State Route (SR) 7/SR I 27/United States Route (US) 4 l (General Courtney Hodges Boulevard) over Big Indian Creek in the City of Perry, Houston County, Georgia under PI 0015553.

In accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Low Impact Bridge Program (LIBP), a potential bridge replacement has been identified along Wardlow Road, located in Turner County, Georgia (Figure l).
