The Louis Berger Group, Inc., Richmond, Virginia, has completed an archaeological survey of the proposed Blue Ridge Dam access road, Fannin County, Georgia. This work was conducted on behalf of the Tennessee Valley Authority.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (D R) plans to maintain 3.2 miles of existing firebreaks within the state-owned Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area in Screven County, Georgia (Figure I and Figure 2).

An archaeological survey has been performed along the proposed route of 1-16-1(75). This pedestrian survey included subsurface shovel tests along the project right- of-way. The Savannah and Ogeechee Canal was also included in this survey.

The proposed project would consist of the installation of ADA ramps, crosswalks and pedestrian heads at previously signalized intersections. and the installation of school signs.
