Report Abstracts

This report describes an archaeological reconnaissance of a 2,200 acre portion of DuPont's proposed Trail Ridge Mine, performed by Southern Research between January 13 and February 7, 1997.

This report details the results of archeological data recovery on one city block in the City of Columbus, Georgia. The block which today is bounded by 5th and 6th Avenues and 9th and 10th Streets was originally laid out with eight half acre house lots in 1828.

In January and March 1997, Garrow & Associates, Inc., performed archaeological testing of 10 sites in southeastern Georgia to evaluate their eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
