The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, has proposed deepening the Savannah Harbor Navigation Project an additional four feet. The deepening project has been designed to begin at Station - 58+000 and extend through Station + 102+000.

The Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR) has conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of the Albany Water Gas & Light Commission relocation site, located in Dougherty County, Georgia.

A Phase I archaeological and historic resource survey of the proposed right-of-way for the Haralson Mill Road Improvement project between Booth Road and the Walton County line was conducted by Garrow & Associates, Inc., in late November 1995.

An intensive cultural resources survey was carried out for the Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed Barnesville Chip Mill Substation and Transmission Line in Dodge County, Georgia.

In early November, 1995 Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. conducted an intensive archeological survey of proposed road improvements and borrow pits in Screven County, Georgia.

In February and March, 1997, an archeological survey was conducted prior to the construction of water pipelines associated with Macon Water Authority's new water treatment plant. Proposed pipeline locations had already been surveyed in 1994, but in the meantime the design changed.

Archival and field investigations were conducted by Carl Etheridge, Park Ranger, Allatoona Lake Project Manager's Office, during April and May 1996 of the "Blankets Creek" Gold Mine Complex, 9Ck465, on Little River in Cherokee County, Georgia.

R. S. Webb & Associates conducted an archeological resources survey for Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed Walnut Grove 230 kV substation site in April 1997.

In February 1997 Brockington and Associates conducted a cultural resources survey of the proposed Old Villa Rica Road bridge replacement in Cobb County, Georgia.
