This Phase I survey was performed by Garrow & Associates, Inc. under contract with Chambers Development Company, Inc. in order to identify any cultural resources situated within the proposed Banks County landfill site on Carlan Creek in Banks County, Georgia.

An intensive cultural resources survey was carried out for the Oglethorpe Power Corporation's proposed Langboard Substation and Transmission Line in Atkinson County, Georgia.

Phase II cultural resource investigations were conducted at seven archaeological sites in Banks County, Georgia.

In March and May 1996 archaeological investigations were conducted by archaeologists from Georgia Power Company (GPC) and Brockington and Associates, Inc. on two sites, 9HK56 (Hancock County, Georgia) and 9PM689 (Putnam County, Georgia).

This is a Phase I survey of a portion of a previously recorded site, 9Du81. The purpose was to examine the effect of usage of the site as a spoil dump for dredging to clear a nearby channel.

Cultural resources survey and site evaluation were conducted on 8.53 kilometers (5.3 mi) of proposed new location highway corridor (Alternative A-1), including an interchange, for the Eisenhower Parkway Extension, in Bibb County, Georgia.

In January and February, 1996, Panamerican Consultants performed Phase II testing on ten archaeological sites at Fort Gordon, Georgia. This work was carried out under contract DACW21 93-D-0040, Delivery Order 0023, for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Gordon.

Originally, a temporary detour bridge was to be erected adjacent to the existing bridge; however, it has since been determined that a temporary bridge is not feasible. Consequently, a permanent bridge would now be built west of the existing bridge.
