Fort Mountain State Park in Murray County proposes construction of a trail that will begin near the park entrance, descend over 1000' down the slope and follow Bearpen Branch to the confluence of Bearpen Branch and Rock Creek (Figure 1), where the trail will join the existing Pinholti Trail.

Vann House State Historic Site (Figure 1) proposes relocating an existing Cherokee-built corn crib to the historic site. The crib is ca. 10 x 40 feet and will be located near the end of the driveway loop at the visitor center.

As the result of recent design changes, the proposed project would begin approximately 1,315 feet west of Cobb Creek and end approximately 1,361 feet east of Cobb Creek, for a total project length of approximately 2,675 feet (0.50 mile).

Original: The proposed project would replace the existing bridge over Sharp Mountain Creek with a new 200-foot long and 38-foot wide bridge on new alignment located to the north, but adjacent to the existing bridge.

2967 Archaeological Monitoring of Trenching for a Waterline at Hardman Farm/Nacoochee Mound in White County, Georgia

The State of Georgia recently acquired the Hardman Farm and property along the Chattahoochee River south of Helen, Georgia, in White County (Figure 1). In addition to the historic house and outbuildings, the property includes the Nacoochee Mound, a widely recognized North Georgia landmark.
