Based upon the above analysis, the mitigation measures proposed in SCG's application and supplements filed on March 11, 2002, April 22, 2002, May 2, 2002, and June 7, 2002, and with the implementation of our recommendations below, the Division of Environmental and Engineering Review, Gas Branch

TRC Garrow Associates, Inc. (TRC), under contract to Wright Padgett Christopher (WPC), conducted a cultural resource survey of a 22-acre tract on Hutchinson Island, Chatham County, Georgia.

A total of 18 cultural loci or sites were encountered within or adjacent to the Areas of Potential Effect examined during 2005. A summary of the field methods utilized to complete this investigation, as well as a description of the survey items, is presented below.

This addendum report provides additional information and enhanced details in support of the original ineligibility recommendations for those sites deemed potentially eligible by the review agencies.

The project was archeologically surveyed in early May of 2001.

We conclude that approval of this proposal would not constitute a major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.

The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) is planning to expand the Garden City Terminal's container storage area, located on the Savannah River about four miles upstream from Savannah (Figure 1).

This archaeological study was conducted as part of planning for the proposed bypass around the city of Dublin in Laurens County, Georgia. The project corridor consists of 8.31 miles of 250 foot wide right-of-way.
