The archeological testing described in this report defined the site boundaries of 9Le(SAS)2, as shown in Figure 1. The site contained even more material than was indicated by the original survey and its status as eligible to the National Register of Historic Places remains unchanged.

In September and October 2016, Environmental Services, Inc., (ESI) conducted a cultural resource assessment survey of West and East Keller Tracts located in Chatham County, Georgia for Roberts Properties, Inc.

In order to comply with Sec. 106 & 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA),- Ft. Stewart initiated a survey of all known and suspected railroads and tramlines on Fort Stewart.

I, the Principal Investigator: Thomas H. Gresham do hereby certify that the Area of Potential Effect (as described on page 1 of this form) for GDOT Project CSSTP-0007-00(408) has been thoroughly surveyed for archaeological resources and that no such resources were located or identified.

In April 2010, an intensive cultural resource assessment survey (CRAS) was conducted by Bland and Associates, Inc. (BAI) of a + 25 acre tract located within Chatham County, Georgia.

This study presents an archeological, historical, and environmental framework and perspective through which to view and articulate future studies of non-renewable cultural resources on the Fort Stewart Military Reservation.

On the basis of information obtained through archaeological survey, it seems unlikely that anything of historic or prehistoric significance would be affected by the completion of this project.
