On the basis of information obtained through. archaeological survey, it seems unlikely that anything of historic or prehistoric significance would be affected by the completion of this project.

Under the above contractual agreement, between the USDA, Forest Service an_ the Archeological Survey of Cobb-Fulton Counties, the General Specifications contained the following.

In July of 1985, an electrical soil resistivity survey was conducted at Andersonville National Historic Site. The area surveyed was projected to be the location of the "shed hospital," the last of three hospitals providing medical care to federal prisoners..

No significant archaeological resources were located within the proposed project corridor as described in paragraph two above.

ERT was requested by The Buckeye Cellulose Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Procter & Gamble Company, to evaluate the cultural resources on a section of land approximately two miles south of Oglethorpe, Georgia (see Figures 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3).
