Report Abstracts

The proposed project consists of a land swap between the Georgia Department of Transportation and Hall County. The two properties are both located in the southeast quadrant of 1-985 and SR 53/Mundy Mill Road, along Wallis Road.

The proposed project would replace the bridge on SR 57/Wiregrass Trail over 1-95 in McIntosh County. The existing right-of-way on SR 57/Wiregrass Trail is 200 feet and the maximum proposed right-of-way would vary between 200-350 feet.

This project proposes to widen and reconstruct the Cochran Bypass, SR 87, in Bleckley County.

The proposed project would consist of the intersection improvement of State Route 26/U.S. Highway 80 with State Route 30/U.S. Highway 280 in Blitchton (see attached location map). The project would provide left turn lanes on State Route 26/U.S. Highway 80 approaching State Route 30/U.S.

The current plan is to shift the alignment of Barton Chapel Road about 490 ft to the east on Wrightsboro Road, so that it aligns with Augusta West Parkway. The realignment begins on Barton Chapel Road about 1250 ft south of Wrightsboro Road.

The proposed project is the identification of surplus property owned by the Georgia Department of Transportation that will be placed on the market by the Department's Right-of-Way Office.

The proposed project would consist of improvements to the existing SR 12/US 278, CR 110/Brickhouse Road/Cunningham Road intersection between the cities of Greensboro and Union Point.

A Phase I archaeological survey was conducted in response to proposed changes to the South LaGrange Loop in Troup County, GA. The project entails the addition of a short corridor linking the main road to a property to the west.

Improvements of existing 4-ft. wide sidewalks on both sides of Roswell Street Project includes new 8-ft. sidewalks and 8-ft. wide strip for landscaping and furniture. Four signalized intersections will be improved with handicap ramps.
