Report Abstracts

The project proposes to relocate Conley Road south on new location to align with C.W. Grant Parkway. This project also proposes to relocate SR 3/Old Dixie Road to the east approximately 600 feet and construct a new connection from existing C.W.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the bridge on SR 31/US 441/US 319 over the Heart of Georgia Railroad. The proposed total project length is 0.87 mile. This project length includes improvements along SR 30/US 280 and CR 132.

PM# 2511 consists of the sale of surplus property acquired under project STP-031-1(32) in Quitman County, Georgia. The property is located at the Harrison Street/SR 82 intersection. The parcel is approximately .07 acre in size.

This project is a phase I archaeological survey within the APE corridor of a proposed multi-use trail at Columbus State University. The trail will incorporate some existing sidewalks and bridges. It is intended to connect with a defunct rail line in the Rails To Trails Project.

In November and December 2008, R.S. Webb & Associates (RSWA) conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of two proposed wetland mitigation tracts in Spalding County, Georgia. The project Area of Potential Effects (APE) was set at the project boundaries.

Structure Site No. 8 is composed of seventy-four acres along Cooper Creek and a small un-named tributary branch in the southern portion of Hall County, Georgia.

On or about the first of February, 1974, a request for an archaeological survey of a 289 acre tract in Hall County Georgia, near Flowery Branch, was received by the author from Dr. Lewis H. Larson, Jr., State Archaeologist.

In September and October of 1976, an archaeological-historical survey was conducted by Anne F. Rogers, under the direction of Roy S. Dickens, Jr. and Timothy Crimmins, on a tract of land near Gainesville, Georgia.
